Run 1025 Report

Lakeside Hash House Harriers The drinking club with a running problem

Run 1025, 14 February 2004 Hare: Barter Bitch Venue: Oxford Scholar Hotel, 427 Swanston Street, Melbourne

Interim report:

A VERY big “Thank You!” to all who came to the city on a stiflingly hot day to support the Red Dress Run!!  We had about 55 all up in the pub, with representatives from most of the Melbourne area hashes, and even from Warrnambool and Geelong!  A special Thanks too to those of you who had other plans for the evening but still made the effort to stop in for a little while to support the event, and to those of you who couldn’t make it on the day but made donations – all support very much appreciated!

The Heart Foundation will advise us what the amounts in the tins came to.  The take from the door & raffle was approximately $440 – final amount to be confirmed. Thanks to everyone who made extra donations, whether in the form of cash or prizes, too!! And to Phart Lap, XR8ed and Jackoffalot, who helped at registration and with selling raffle tickets, and to stand-ins as Grogmaster, Janus, and as Religious Advisor, Boner.

A more detailed run report including a full list of the fashions on the field prizewinners will follow soon, although as you may already know, the top prize winner and “Red Dress Idol for 2004” is none other than WSH3’s Lester the Molester. Photos soon! (It’s scary how good he looked – Scrubba, Hollywood awaits you in “Makeup” & “Costuming” – or is it “Special Effects”?!) 😎

On on,

Barterbitch!
