Run 1078, 9 Feb 2005 Hare: Stuckon Venue: David & Camy Noodle Restaurant, Corrs Lane, Chinatown
We arrived at David & Camu Chinese restaurant and welcomed by smiling hair and her gorgeous daughter, Alice, in Chinese costume. Run started in narrow avenues in CBD. Full pack runners excited by the Melbournians audience passed Chinese Museum, ran through Burke Street down to Melbourne Aquarium and Crown. Then they passed over the Yarra in Southbank and were directed to drink stop beside the Yarra. Runners were served by lemonade and a Chinese alcoholic drink in salty water and vodka nature. Everybody found his way to home after drink stop. Pisser Basher, frequent Western Suburbs runners from lake side origin, and Zooliate, virgin hasher, visited us.
Charges: The restaurant manager got a Down Down for his extra served service. Deeper had extra reason to run and Sooti was curious to know about the sheep in the restaurant decoration. Quasimodo had 50 runs and Tigermoth 25. Nefertits announced Red Dress Run one week early and Janus was charged for watching soccer with a friend. Barter Bitch missed last week run and Pissed Basher came to the run without a short. Klingon was in spot light and was charged for drink stop, killing Deeper twice and giving a passing by walker a beer.
Announcements: 19 FEBRUARY (Saturday) 10th Annual Red Dress Run. Special extravaganza for 10th anniversary, music, dancing til late. Oxford Scholar Hotel, Cnr Swanston and A’Beckett Sts, CBD. 4pm for 5 pm Run. Dinner, costume awards ,music and party. PLAN IS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR RED CROSS, TSUNAMI RELIEF FUND.
