Run 1079, 16 Feb 2005 – Gispert Memorial Run Hare: Father Venue: Naughton’s Hotel, Cr Royal Pde & Moorah St. Parkville
A great run! We started from Morrah Street, went through the Royal Park South at the back of Children Hospital. We followed the rail line between Royal Park and Melbourne Zoo, went through Princes Park toward the cemetery. At the cemetery, we were welcomed by E&B and her pipe in the drink stop.
Visitors included: Mine Fuck! from Hobart, Top Gun and Bobble Gum from Melbourne Hash, Carpet Burn from Sudney and virgin runner Peer. Janus (150), Nefertits (25), Snowbitch (21) and Father (65) had significant runs.
Announcement: Miss Piggy is organizing a weekend away in Marysville to celebrate 21’th birthday of Lake Side Hash. She is looking at May 7, 8 of May 21, 22. We will keep you informed, but be prepared.
Charges: Astro – loosing the sprit of hash. Whippet, Cooch and Carpet Burn – didn’t bother to check the checks. Nefertits – Not taking the charge seriously. Father – Not to set a child friendly run. Quasimodo and Carpet Burn – To neglect the male runners and posing themselves to footi and soccer players in the park Father – To taking over a man with curiosity in learning pipe. Miss Piggy – Wearing hat during the circle. Deep Throat – Wearing sun glass during the circle. Toto – for dressing up for Nicolas Cage. E&B – Getting lost in a wrong pub. Genus – for making a new audit for the drink stop value.
Red Dress Run summary:
An extraordinary run for a good cause! We had lots of visitors from Geelong, Hobart and Canada and a good pack of runners, 65, all in red dress. This year we had music too which kept us dancing till late night. Good host and better food! Barter Bitch and her team did their best to collect money for Tsunami Appeal and running a fun event. Well done to her and everybody who participated.
