Run 1101, 05 Julye 2005 Hares: Astro Venue: 389 Graham St, Port Melbourne

Run started from Astro’s home where he shares it with Leo, a well dressed businessman in suit. We moved on to the beach and were enjoying fascinating views of Port Melbourne when we reached to the drink stop early in the run. The highlight of the run was a soccer club where girls where practicing different tactics. Ganus and I were looking for sportive girlfriends in the fast pace run. Run had few on backs and Udder gave it 3/22. Astro got some help from three lady friends for a nice hash pasta.

Astro’s home was indeed a nice male flat with few gym’s equipments and a heavy duty chess board. I was in the middle of close chess game with Mummies Boy, when Klingon announced the circle. Ian, Karen from Western Suburbs and Yolanda ran with us for the second time in the row. Brewer and Elaine were visiting us from Eddinbrough and we had a virgin runner, Andrew. Clitus took over for the charges and started with Barterbitch for answering phone calls in the drink stop and Udder’s absence in drink stop. He believed that run was long and charged Astro. E&B had her own excuse not to run for the second time in the row, but she reached to the circle to be charged for it. Klingon hasn’t resigned after two weeks and got a down down. Ganus was accused of measuring and counting the drinks he serves in the circle. Mummies Boy reminded the Shah of his defeat in the lection. E&B was charged for her revenge to go to 75’th birthday party and runners expressed their pleasure for Mummies Boy’s 50th birthday. BarterBitch was found lost after she suddenly changed her direction to home. Astro is heading to Canberra for six months to be involved in the Department of Health and Aging. Irish and BarterBitch were given a drink as visiting GMs. Shah was delivered Mummies Boy’s message about Quasimodo’s rooting in America and Addon is still asking for blue stones she found in Docklands. Hence Whippet was charged. In a superb occasion, Jane (an Essendon supporter I believe!) was named Bluey!

Webmaster’s note: those with good memories will recall Jane’s brother, the 1965 Essendon premiership centre half back, Ian “Bluey” Shelton.
