Run 1112, 21 Sept 2005 Hare: Prince Venue: Carringbush Hotel, Cnr Langridge & Raphael, Collingwood. Grand Final Run
Prince kept the tradition of setting the Ground Final Run in Collingwood by setting a really well planned run. The run had lots of On Backs and check points and runners and walkers where together in the first half of the run. Few runners put their club jumpers on to present their clubs but I couldn’t see any Sidney supporter there to cheer up before wining the final after 72 years.
Screw Top, Just Do it, Sue (Screw Top’s mate), Rebore, Holly and Stephanie returned to the run. We found that Western Suburbs have almost taken advantage of our preparation for naming Ian and Karen and named them “Rebore” and “Just Do it”. The run scored 20 from 12 and Screw Top (10) and Cooch (200) had significant runs.
Gerbils who was wearing Rugby League jumper was in front of the pack for the first time. Mummies Boy had few ideas to find St Kilda players who were lost after the loss to Swans. E&B stopped in a wrong pub again and Clitus found Lotsa Fun dancing. I mentioned that last run who GG set was in a really good pub which had really good food deals. Quasimodo disagreed with me and found the pub smoky. Plunger was found of fraud in the book. He signs 7 every week. Cooch was given a Down Down for giving Shah a permanent job and Shah misunderstood the Foxtel’s Love Match as a dating program. At the end of the night GG, Bovine Breeder and Prince got a Down Down wearing Collingwood jumpers. Announcements:
