Run 1154, 7 June 2006 Hare: Tiger Moth & Mothball Venue:23 Pitt St, Ashburton

In a freezing night, Caribbean food fans joined few committed runners to a well set and timed journey by Mothball. We started alongside the creek and while we where tuning up our bodies, Prince checked out the checks one after each other before we experience multiple checks alongside Glen Iris Road. After few more check points and on backs we were honored to follow the decommissioned Alamein Line track. The highlight of the run was IBM’s transformation from a hasher who often gets lost to a front runner. This was the courtesy of receiving the run map from Mothball.

The run scored 46 from 54 and kept the pack together.  We served a delicious Brazilian food upon our arrival which warmed up everybody. After the dinner Rolf Harris and Snowbitch gave a report of run 1153.5 which was held in Knoxfield Hospital in honor of Sooty. It appeared that Sooty has had another Melanoma attack but is in good condition. He is expected to be discharged in few days.

IBM could leave his couch to put on his running shoes and running with Lakeside and Brazilian Bordello Babe had a late appearance in the Lakeside circle. Meanwhile Rolf Harris and Snowbitch arrived on time for wonderful Brazilian dinner.

Plunger de third had his first Wednesday run with Lakeside following his fast running contribution to the weekend away. Mothball (277), Whippet (233), Cheesecake (226) had significant runs while Mommies Boy had a tour of Mothball’s bar listening to the Latin American music. Mommies Boy, Acting Sergeant in Arms, picked Prince’s erotic chin before challenging Mothball by asking alcoholic questions from his menu.  Plunger de third had a combination of towel and low cut dress on during the circle and Pointy was smart enough to drive two minutes to get to Mothball’s place.

The circle was held in Mothball garage which had evince of Portuguese graffiti all over train station area. IBM accused Shah to be rude and not supporting his team but Shah left all the discussions to the after World Cup. Klingon was driving after E&B who was lost and Cheesecake again highlighted her vast knowledge of the local creeks and Albert Park Lake. Klingon announced Tigermoth as the best hash cash Lakeside ever had to be recorded in the history and E&B reminded Pointy that nobody can run with her and be on time.

It appeared that Lotsa Fun was confused of the decommissioned Alamein train line and Mommies Boy recorded Mothball toilet as biggest toilet in the world pointing to the giant toilet brush in the garage. The theme of the night was Brazil and Brazilian where IBM and Swallower went to the beauty shop and IBM got a Brazilian by mistake.
