Run 1156, 21 June 2006 Hare: Prince Venue: Plough and Barrow pub in Swanston St, Carlton

What a quick and comfortable run. Prince who set the run was with us and after one check was in front of the pack checking his own checks.  Prince re-wrote the hash rules by setting all check points at the main roads. Luckily we didn’t loose anybody because we had Prince with us. We started from the Canada Hotel. Canada Hotel!! The food was Chinese and there was an Irish pub inside. We didn’t see anything Canadian except it was located in Canada Lane.

We left the pub; pass the Melbourne Museum toward Victoria Parade and Fitzroy Gardens. We had a brief look at the state government offices and Parliament House before get stock into the big crowd waiting in the line in front of Prince Theater to watch all ex-Olympian ice skaters show. Then we crossed the Immigration Department where Prince had found few supporters who tampered his check by writing “Please Help Me” in the check. The run scored 98 from 198 while Big “O” and Udder returned to the Lakeside.

Snowbitch (60), Colours (12.5) had significant runs. The run was held in the shortest night of the year and had Druid’s theme. Hence, Udder, Pointy and Screwtop got down downs.  Udder, acting religious adviser, named Michiyo Seagull as she was witnessed to pinch the fries few times. Snowbitch was also charged for pinching Chris’s fries.

Tigermoth (Brazil), Chris, Screwtop and Udder (UK) took their charges for the performance of their teams in the World Cup.  Meanwhile, Mothball charged Prince, Shah and GG for ordering Western food in the Chinese restaurant. Tigermoth took her chance to charge fellow committee members, Shah for writing on the paper she thought Shah found on the floor, Klingon for writing on the napkin and E&B for loosing few receipts.

Tigermoth in return received a charge for making Lakeside a profitable group and Seagull got a down down for passing Klingon in her way to home. Mothball and Screwtop were accused of shortcutting and Lethal was charged for being born in 1940, Melbourne’s Hash’s run count next week. Udder was spotted doing business at hash and Big “O” didn’t have her hash T-shirt on. Finally, Lethal, Colours and Cooch got low profiles.
