Run 1195, 21 February 2007 Hare: Lethal Venue:Glenhuntly Park, Neerim Rd Glenhuntly

All excited with presence of new virgin hasher, Suzie, with the flavor Lethal’s father history we gathered at the Glenhuntly Park. Sooty had a surprise visit to the hash after a long absence and Upper Class Tart came back from the funeral dressed formally. I completely forgot Tangles which appears that doesn’t run with Lakeside without Sooty.

Ok! Enough! Prince tried to teach few tricks to Suzie but Suzie had a better hash teacher, Codpiece, to learn all about it during the run. Lethal reminded of his father which would have been 98 if he was still with us. Lethal and Lizard’s dads used to bet on Caulfield’s races and that’s why we took an honoree turn around the Caulfield track starting from the stables. As Shah was looking at the star horses, Prince and Whippet took off early and raced ahead of the pack, Two Bottoms and Cooch were behind them and last were Pauline and Pointy who were competing to find the short cuts.

I wonder if Monash Uni was in Caulfield when Lethal’s dad was around but Lethal couldn’t forget his time with Udder in Monash and took us around the Monash’s cricket and rugby practice fields where Whippet and Stuart didn’t disappoint Lakeside and easily beat the students practicing rugby in their run. After few dangerous checks at the busy road intersections, front runners only managed walker’s trail and shortcuted back where Miss Belinda from Sydney was waiting for us, lost in the traffic and eager to talk about the way Champaign is served in Sydney hashes, criticizing the furious Lakeside grogmaster, Whippet.

Lethal brought in a good cold dinner which Udder didn’t like complaining of having ham two weeks in a row. Lethal brought in fresh figs from home which Shah, Codpiece and Tigermoth loved and took away.  Udder remembered that Lizard set the same run 12.5 years back and gave it 11.5 from 26.75 but couldn’t give food 1 out of 10. Naoline ran for the second time with us and Klingon ran the circle in the absence of Cheesecake who had migraine and stayed home. Crabbo and Upper Class Tart had their last run before heading back home but promised to come back for Christmas.

Mothball and Tigermoth came at the end of the run for Tigermoth to tell us how Mothball got his hash name by keeping a moth ball in his closet while Boxy got a recto perspective charge for abusing a virgin. Udder checked his calendar for St David’s’ day and took a charge with Pointy and Mothball for their first names. Codpiece was witnessed for glittering in the Red Dress Run Whippet was accused of not looking after the ladies properly.

GG couldn’t forget Upper Class Tart and Crabbo’s run where Lakeside lost his GG for the first time and Codpiece took two prizes in Red Dress Run before taking off. Shah farewelled Upper Class Tart and Crabbo before Pointy pointing that Interhash subscriptions are rising. So hurry up if you are heading west next year.
