This was one of Klingon’s best ever runs. Location superb. Run great. The pack however, was a failure. Just because a howling gale blew away some of the numerous and carefully laid chalk marks, they used it as an excuse to short cut back to the pub.
Now there is something about this pub. It is the last old-style pub in Melbourne. It is the only pub in the world with its own library, containing not only a vintage set of Encyclopaedia Britannia, but numerous other works of great literature. During the circle Klingon tried to enlighten the masses by quoting Plato on the harassing wife of Socrates, but these pearls of wisdom were, like the trail, lost on the audience.
There is little to recall about the circle except that because Irish spends half his working hours in this pub, he was still there. The GM got a down down for his flier about the Xmas party being at the Aegean “Creek” Restaurant. Not being much of a buff on the Mediterranean, he did not know there were no creeks in the Aegean. Following this he forgot to appoint a stand in scribe. Luckily the ever resourceful hare was able to oblige.
