A warm night, with a small pack. Even smaller, with trains not running and traffic heavy, so several arrived late. A run described as having a beginning, an end and no middle! Probably as the runners left on trail, returned on trail, but couldnt find the bit in the middle, which included the fantastic view, and the drink stop, both of which they had been warned about. A good bet would have been to go to the top of the hill at The Eyrie in Eaglemont. The walkers however followed their trail all the way. Run scored 40/44. Good food – pizza. Special Runs Tiger Moth – 150 Prince – 282 E&B – 383 Sooty – 181 Point Post – 639 Visiting GM – GG – the new GM of Melbourne Hash. NOTE:- He is not going to get this every week. Sergeant for the night – Nicklby. GG for being late – trains not running. Sooty – wanting to start early so we would miss Mothballs grumbling. Mothball – arriving late and not grumbling. Flem – Having fruit at the drink stop. – (even though no one got there.) It was getting quite dark by now. You should try writing in the dark – and then trying to read it later. The 3 witches hiding in the dark – TigerMoth, LotsaFun & LubeOil. E&B – pinching plums on the run. Cooch being the only one to respond to GGs 3 text – Where is the run? Sooty – talking. Colours – robbing bank on the run. To celebrate the American Election Flem – token american. E&B – stand in for BarterBitch – real american.
