Run 1358, 30 Dec 2009 Hare: It Wasn’t Me and Nor Me Venue: Hays Paddock, Kew East.
With the temperate gauge reading 38 degrees Celsius at 6.30pm, everybody knew that it must be Hash Night. Hays Paddock is virgin territory for Lakeside and the venue did not disappoint. The run was through the leafy parts of Kew and Balwyn with lots of parks and other open spaces. Maps were supplied and so the pack managed to keep close together. To add to the enjoyment of the run , there was a welcome drink stop . The only problem was there was a further two to three kilometres to the finish. It was an excellent run in a nice part of Melbourne.
Being a hot night there was cold chicken, salad and dip. Excellent fare!

Charges: Half the pack for turning up to hash for three weeks in a row on very hot days GG – for starting a new trend for answering his mobile, namely by lying prostate on the ground and resting on his elbow (not a pleasant sight) GG and Udder – For being the only two hashers present to have been running with Lakeside a decade ago Significant Events of the Noughties ? Prince married Princess ? Sooty came back from the dead ? Nor Me turned up ? Luban celebrated his 70th birthday. ? Luban married Luboil ? Gargoyle met Udder (some girls get all the luck)
