Run 1359, 06 Jan 2010 Hare: Two Bottoms Venue: 18 Acacia Street, Box Hill.

There is nothing like a new house to visit to bring out the runners and two bottoms House warming run had them in turning up in droves, in fact some came all the way from the UK. There were several Hashers so excited by the run they turned up an hour early. The large crowd had two bottoms rushing off to grab some posh beers so as to avoid the unthinkable – A hash run with beer running out. The run got off to the usual 6.30 start (which means 6.45), after a brief run down of the markings to follow by two bottoms the Hash was on, the trial lead up to Box hill station and then out into surrounding areas.

Mothball described the run as being through Virgi! n territory, but that did not stop him eliminating 2.5Km from it. For those that did the longer version made it as far as the Maroondah highway (on a on-back) through some parks and along side a cemetery. The run  had a few people reflecting on their time growing up in the area, while others just admired the sites. Everybody made it back to the balcony, a little sweaty but better for the run, where they were meet by steaming garlic bread and cheesecake demanding money. The Hash Cash hoping to collect money quickly so that she can enjoy the night – which is the idea. The large crowd enjoyed a good meal out on the balcony, while Lubang oz tried to work out how they got the nails in the wood.
