Run 1429, 06 Apr 2011 Hare: Cut Loose & Astro 2/47 Tulip St. Blackrock
A great turn up of Lakesiders ambled along to the Harem of Astro with his loveliest partner of Cut Loose. The run went for a long time. It went for 360 degrees around the compass and there was some beach involved. It was only after an hour that Tripod asked some locals as to which way Tulip St was and they looked at him confused and told him that it was in the exact opposite direction. But who really cares about the run? All we wanted was to get back, have some beers and some good food.
Did I say good food in my last paragraph? Well that was an understatement as Cut Loose provided a sumptuous feast. There was a massive pot of Green Chicken Curry and lots of Pad Thai noodles with Prawns. In fact there was so much food that I spied Prince eating four helpings, as did apparently I. There was so much delicious food, that there was heaps left over and I think that I gained 2 kilos in the one sitting!
Onto the charges • Udder gave the run report despite his fear of the dark. It was an amazingly descriptive report considering that the poor chap spent most of the run with his hands over his eyes. Allegedly Point Post was not lost during the run but they have a phrase for this in the Army – Geographically embarrassed. Apparently the run passed somewhere near Highett where Udder’s ex lived. Also apparently the property prices for Highett also skyrocketed after Udder left the neighbourhood. A coincidence you may ask? • Udder rated the run with 2.5 / 300, but the food was given 11/10. Palindromic and Notable Runs • 343 Mothball • 33 XRated • Big 50 Runs! For Cut Loose and Crabbo • Another interesting piece of information was that GG did not do the run. It would appear that GG instead selected to hide in the dark under a dark bush marked with the sign “Regeneration Area”. • Point Post was also charged for always knowing where the run was going. • Conversely – Cut Loose and Astro were charged for obviously taking bribes by giving Pointy inside information as to where the run went. • Normie for some reason lost his clothes but fortunately Crabbo did not follow suit. • Big Bang and Bovine Breeder were charged for not coming to the start of any runs lately. • Nashi for calling On On when he was clearly not even in the same suburb of the trail. GG was also punished for being his accomplice. • Nashi for pretending to be injured with profuse bleeding from his head and thereby extracting the shortcut home. Amazingly, 10 minutes later back on Tulip Street, Nashi had miraculously recovered such that his arterial bleeding had been stopped and he was standing there having a beer and sharing jokes over how tough a hasher he is. • Upper Class Tart charged Astro for greeting Lakesiders in the dark with a bike light on his head. Don’t worry, I didn’t understand it either. Thankfully we seem to have succeeded in getting rid of Upper Class Tart and Crabbo for another year. • Codpiece charged Chrome Dome for forgetting everyones names. Chrome Dome was also charged for constantly ringing Whopping Boy throughout the run. • Upper Class Tart (what a long name it is to type) charged Sooty and Colours for ignoring the women first when taking away the charges. • Klingon charged Udder over their “Clash of the Puppies”. (Both brought their doggies along and apparently one wanted to consume the other whilst the other sought to fornicate with them – or was that Klingon and Udder?) • Codpiece charged Tripod for not following the trail. • Upper Class Tart and Crabbo were charged off. • Bovine Breeder charged Big Bang for cruelty to Bovines.
