Run 1464, 09 Nov 2011 Hare: Pog Venue: Harp of Erin Hotel Harp St Kew East
It was a day of impending gloom. General was away and somehow Pog ended up setting the run instead. it was a warm day, but as the run set off, dark clouds were approaching. We knew a deluge would engulf us and it did.
The run went over the freeway and then west through the park on the nortehrn side. Virgin running territory for Lakeside, I think. Then the wet came. It was back over the Chandler Hwy and up along the old Outer Circle to to Kew. Mosy people either squbbed it or were sensible enought to bring a change of clothes. Except Udder.
Visitor Meltdown from Sydney was also here for the City to Sea run, joining a bunch of new Lakesiders – Dr Boner, Defibrulator, Heart Attack, Mouthful and Mark, together with Cheesecake and E&B who were participating.
