Run 1723 | 4th May 2016 | Big Ears @ Park Street,Templestowe

Sweaty was acting GM either because:

(a) she usurped the throne by exploiting Melbourne’s windy weather to hurl Cooch off his bike into the Yarra;
(b) she usurped the throne by testing the tyres on her nifty new road bike and plastered Cooch into the pavement;

OR

(c) she usurped the throne by using her medical skills for evil. Taxidermied Cooch is now on perpetual display for your viewing pleasure at Melbourne Museum.

Sweaty immediately claimed her place in history by rolling out charge after charge with more people being charged than not:

Run Report

Mystery Sergeant Mum’s kid called on Acting GM to do the Run Report…forthwith known as Deep Box (so named because she shared a room with the Lakeside lovebirds at Baw Baw and had no help from No Balls – who apparently had a lovely time but needs to be reminded why).

Excellent Run. Got lost at one point but picked up trail going across the bush looking for flour. Everyone said it couldn’t go down but canny acting GM spied a spot where the hare Big Ears had rested the stamper on the ground. Much scrambling through bushes while she hunted down other stamper resting spots. This hare was obviously overwrought and needed a quiet sit down frequently. One point deducted for the sin of in-trail crossing out-trail. 1715/1723

Walkers Report

Swingers did the walk report: Interesting and would have been FABULOUS in daylight. Lost the trail and checks were not marked by runners. Outrage expressed by dedicated, rule-obeying runners! Perhaps the walkers were actually ahead of the lazy runners? Much bush bashing, probably lovely homes but they were lost in the dark.

Charges

  • Mum’s kid requested Nickelby out front: This run was designed for Nickelby with plentiful trees to slap him in the face, dark, winding dirt paths with sheer drops into the Yarra. The perfect Recovery Run for Nick to regain his mojo.
  • Nickleby’s plastic surgeon charged for excellent work on Nickleby’s beautiful nose
  • Mum’s kid charged for hopefully leaving phone number at bar. Becoming a habit as he’s indulged in conversations with Kling On and BE about needing a Wednesday night woman.
  • Overdue charge – Spread On for low profile
  • Game On for being a snitch and an agent for Kling On. He grassed on M’s B for downing the Down Down too soon.
  • BE for asking GG to take Harpo for a walk. Gave Harpo water but GG stayed thirsty.
  • BE for being dopey and wrestling unsuccessfully with locked double doors when the true entrance/exit remained patiently on the side as it stood the previous 20 times BE used it.
  • Sweaty for trying to set up M’s B to incriminate Kling On for his rather attractive, but slightly disturbing, “camp” posture.
  • Astro for being offside of circle
  • Nickelby cause of some sporting event that only Udder would understand…… a miracle with odds at 5,000 to 1
  • Scottish Over the Top cause she took the High Road while Cut Loose took the Low Road
  • GG & BE for salacious activity on the Hash. That van of BE’s getting desperate ………..
  • Kling On for proving having a PhD doesn’t mean you have all your marbles. He claimed there were 4 Big Number Lakesides at GG’s 1,000 run and named Boomerang, Pointy and GG but couldn’t recall the 4th……..

Announcements: Melb Ladies AGM at Templestowe Thursday night.
