Run 1801 | 9th August 2017 | Kokup / Punch @ Naughton’s Hotel, Parkville

HARES: Kokup and Punch

VENUE: Naughton’s Parkville Hotel, Royal Parade Parkville.

The Pack arrived to a warm cosy dining room set with one long table where we all returned for cheerful chatter and delicious meals, enjoying the ambience of the flickering firelight and a great selection of boutique beers.

RUN REPORT:  By Back Beard:  The pack knew there was going to be a lot of complaints about not being able to find trail, because Kokup’s On On arrows began too far from the checks like at Mother Hash.  Then the other part of training for Mother Hash was to set long trails and after coming past the zoo there was a really long trail heading to a double On Back.  It was getting late and the pack decided to keep on going and run on in.

Scored :– 1.1/1

WALK REPORT: By Astro:  There were the slow Walkers , the fast Walkers, the long Walk and the short Walk. Everyone started off down the lane behind the hotel. Having crossed Gatehouse Street, the Check in Royal Park was difficult to break because the arrows were hard to find among the grass at night time. The Packs’ red flashing “Be seen, be safe” wrist bands led the way to MacArthur Road / Elliot Avenue, where the Walkers Trail turned left. Most of the fast walkers followed the runners trail, having been given a short cut across to the zoo and to do a shorter 5.5 km version of the Run.

Scored: – 1/1

GM’S CHARGES:
