Firstly, Kokup wishes to thank our hosts for acknowledging his presence with a suitable colour poster in the front window, but now for the serious stuff. Mummies Boys claim to fame and greatness is that he didnt think he lost anyone. The run was set in and around the uncharted territory of Ivanhoe and Darebin Ck., with flour arrows which were duly washed away with a recent downpour prior to the run. Undeterred the pack ran down a few streets before arriving at a track down to the Creek, but why did all of those otherwise intelligent hashers follow each other single file down a slippery drain while Rolf Harris casually walked down a stepped pathway a few metres away? A first attempt to cross the Creek was abandoned when Astro Boy called ON along the bank, but after a few hundred metres, another Creek crossing was attempted. The smart ones walked a few metres further and crossed at the bridge.
ON ON along the boardwalk to a road where a combination of Mummies Boys yellow highlighter on the map and TDTDs cartographic dyslexia had the pack literally running up shit Creek without the proverbial paddle. After some expert advice form Cooch another Creek crossing was attempted, but the pack split with some turning back, not to be seen again. Those who crossed the Creek and other splinter groups also split again until there was a lot of single runners and small packs all running different routes, with neer an arrow to be seen. Somehow we all arrived back at the Chinese.
This had the makings of a good run, but Drunken could only rate it 12/12.
